Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he has chosen you.


And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.


While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, desiring to speak with him.


There were also women looking on from afar: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;


And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,


And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;


And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.


And it was told him by some who said, Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you.


Judas said unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world?


And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he said, I came down from heaven?


And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James.


But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go show these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.


But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;


Have we not the right to eat and to drink?


But other of the apostles saw I none, except James the Lord's brother.


To whom coming, as unto a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
