My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand afar off.


Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days, and the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.


And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were amazed.


And he said unto them, Be not amazed: you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.


And he permitted no man to follow him, except Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.


And immediately all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.


And after six days Jesus took with him Peter, and James, and John, and led them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.


And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.


Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
