The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.


For if you love them who love you, what reward have you? do not even the tax collectors the same?


And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?


And as he spoke, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to eat.


And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat on the sabbath day, that they watched him.


And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.


And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.


And Levi made himself a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of tax collectors and of others that sat down with them.


For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and you say, He has a demon.


But wisdom is justified by all her children.


And one of the Pharisees asked him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to eat.
