And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Entreat now the face of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.


If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy:)


Rejoice not when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles:


It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.


And he said unto them, Take heed what you hear: with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.


Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his clothing, and cast lots.


Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.


But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.


But that on the good ground are they, who in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.


Take heed therefore how you hear: for whosoever has, to him shall be given; and whosoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.


And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.


How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.


But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm: for we are all here.


And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.


As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.


See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.


Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God.
