And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.


Jesus answered and said unto them, You do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.


But Jesus called them to him, and said unto them, You know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their leaders exercise authority over them.


And Jesus answering said unto them, Do you not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?


And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.


Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.


And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of condemnation.


And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.


And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.


Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer:


Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:


You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
