Tell us therefore, What think you? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?


And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.


Verily I say unto you, Wherever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.


And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.


And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

For if I be an offender, or have committed anything worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things of which these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.


But when Paul had appealed to be kept in custody unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.


First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.


All the saints greet you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
