As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered on a cloudy and dark day.


Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a bushel, but on a lamp stand; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.


I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who need no repentance.


And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.


For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.


And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.


And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.


Many of them also who used magic arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.


And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were near.
