I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments.


And her neighbors and her cousins heard how the Lord had showed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.


Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.


For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.


And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.


I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who need no repentance.


You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.


He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.


Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cling unto the Lord.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?


Who in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.


For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
