21 So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the Master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the maimed, and the lame, and the blind.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.


For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.


Your tackle are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great plunder divided; the lame take the prey.


Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break forth, and streams in the desert.


Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in its broad places, if you can find a man, if there is any that executes justice, that seeks the truth; and I will pardon it.


And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.


And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staffs; the one I called Grace, and the other I called Unity; and I fed the flock.


Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.


The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.


Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Know you that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?


So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.


They said unto him, Because no man has hired us. He said unto them, Go you also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall you receive.


But when you give a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:


And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.


And the servant said, Lord, it is done as you have commanded, and yet there is room.


For I say unto you, That none of those men who were bidden shall taste of my supper.


And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.


And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.


And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they who see not might see; and that they who see might be made blind.


Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.


How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;


Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him?


And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.


And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.


He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the rubbish, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he has set the world upon them.


So David's young men turned away, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.
