Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall say.


Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:


Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?


Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?


And why take you thought for clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:


Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, How shall we be clothed?


Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought of the things for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.


And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat; neither for the body, what you shall put on.
