He said, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus preceded him, saying, What think you, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?


Saying, What think you of Christ? whose son is he? They said unto him, The son of David.


And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the innkeeper, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you.


And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.


And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
