And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.


Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the grain, the wine, and the oil, that you exact of them.


Because he has oppressed and has forsaken the poor; because he has violently taken away a house which he built not;


Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed on them.


Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.


Has oppressed the poor and needy, has robbed by violence, has not restored the pledge, and has lifted up his eyes to the idols, has committed abomination,


As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, robbed his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.


And has not oppressed any, but has restored to the debtor his pledge, has robbed none by violence, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment;


If the wicked restores the pledge, gives back that which he has stolen, walks in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.


And when they go forth into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.


And he that kills an animal shall make it good; animal for animal.


And he that kills an animal, he shall restore it: and he that kills a man, he shall be put to death.


Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth outside the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall it be burned.


For they know not to do right, says the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.


And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.


In the same day also will I punish all those that leap over the threshold, who fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
