And no man shall come up with you, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.


All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.


Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.


And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of meeting, that remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.


And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.


And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the time of incense.


Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.


For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;


Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;


But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:


Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.


For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit:
