Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if you can tell?


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.


And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.


No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.


Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and went to God;


And now, O Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.


If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?


He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all.


For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.


For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.


And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he said, I came down from heaven?


Not that any man has seen the Father, except he who is of God, he has seen the Father.


I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.


What if you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?


Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.


For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit on my right hand,


Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.


But the righteousness which is of faith speaks thus, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)


The first man is of the earth, made of dust: the second man is the Lord from heaven.


Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.


It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
