Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.


For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says the LORD that has mercy on you.


And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain apart,


Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at table, and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.


And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, Peace be unto you.


And it came to pass about eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.


Then said Thomas, who is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.


Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said unto them, Peace be unto you.


Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.


After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and in this way showed he himself.


This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after he was risen from the dead.


To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
