I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.


As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.


Therefore does my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.


But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.


If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.


Jesus answered, You could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above: therefore he that delivered me unto you has the greater sin.


For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself;


I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me.


For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.


Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.


This Jesus has God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.


And killed the Prince of life, whom God has raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses.


Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own, zealous of good works.


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
