But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.


But in the fourth generation they shall come here again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.


And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave;


And it shall be as when the reaper gathers the grain, and reaps the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathers ears in the valley of Rephaim.


I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.


For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.


The Lord has trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he has called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the Lord has trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.


Also, O Judah, he has appointed a harvest for you, when I return the captives of my people.


The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.


But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest is come.


Seven weeks shall you number unto you: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as you begin to put the sickle to the grain.


And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.


And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
