When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield unto you its strength; a fugitive and a wanderer shall you be in the earth.


Your righteousness is like the great mountains; your judgments are a great deep: O LORD, you preserve man and beast.


They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.


The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with grain; they shout for joy, they also sing.


Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.


For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.


And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the nations.


And they shall say, This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities have become fortified, and are inhabited.


But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are soon to come.


And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also many cattle?


Since those days were, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the winepress to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.


For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.


So then neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.
