Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;


Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.


For the stars of heaven and its constellations shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.


And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.


And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one looks unto the land, behold, darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in its heavens.


I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.


A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great and strong people; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, through the years of many generations.


The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes.


Yea, and what have you to do with me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all the coasts of Phlistia? will you render me a recompense? and if you recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head;
