With him is wisdom and strength, he has counsel and understanding.


The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.


If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do bow before him.


The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sits as King forever.


You did divide the sea by your strength: you broke the heads of the serpents in the waters.


For the day of the LORD of hosts shall come upon everyone that is proud and lofty, and upon everyone that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:


But I am the LORD your God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.


Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Are you not him who has cut Rahab, and wounded the sea monster?


Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:


Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.


But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
