Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches with which he can do no good?


For your mouth utters your iniquity, and you choose the tongue of the crafty.


Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?


I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:


To him that is afflicted pity should be shown from his friend; even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.


It is time for you, LORD, to work: for they have made void your law.


And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they wailed upon their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and wine, and they rebel against me.


And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burns him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with you? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold your tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.


And those that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor inquired for him.


And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;


Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.


I do not nullify the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
