Ask you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?


Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in birth pangs.


Damascus has grown feeble, and turns herself to flee, and fear has seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.


One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every side,


We have heard the report of it: our hands grow feeble: anguish has taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
