[A Psalm of David.] The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.


If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.


Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof.


Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.


Wail, O gate; cry, O city; you, all of Philistia, are dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.


For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab; its wailing unto Eglaim, its wailing unto Beerelim.


The burden concerning the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you are wholly gone up to the housetops?

The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell in it.


And with the force of a flood shall they be swept away from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.


But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of its place, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience’s sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof:


Come now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.


And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come here; I will show unto you the judgment of the great harlot that sits upon many waters:


And he said unto me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
