Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.


Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of your God.


For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led by them are destroyed.


They shall die grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as refuse upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their dead bodies shall be food for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.


Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.


And you, Pashhur, and all that dwell in your house shall go into captivity: and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and shall be buried there, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.


For I have not sent them, says the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that you might perish, you, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.


Your way and your doings have procured these things unto you; this is your wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reaches unto your heart.


The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own power; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end?


And the dead bodies of this people shall be food for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall frighten them away.


At that time, says the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:


And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for refuse upon the face of the earth.


Yet hear the word of the LORD, O you women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor lamentation.


Speak, Thus says the LORD, Even the dead bodies of men shall fall as refuse upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.


And they shall set apart men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the travelers those that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they make a search.


Therefore thus says the LORD; Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by a survey line; and you shall die in a defiled land: and Israel shall surely go forth into captivity from his land.


Let them alone: they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.


And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.
