He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.


As a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shall despise their image.


And behold at evening time trouble; and before the morning he is no more. This is the portion of them that plunder us, and the lot of them that rob us.


Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and struck in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead corpses.


All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and worthless.


Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.


He that dashes in pieces has come up before your face: keep the fortress, watch the road, make your flanks strong, fortify your power mightily.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
