Put forth the rage of your wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.


Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and distress them in his great displeasure.


Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop off the boughs with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.


And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the ruthless.


This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.


But now the LORD has spoken, saying, Within three years, like the years of a hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be despised, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.


We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.


Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.


The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.


And upon every high tower, and upon every fortified wall,


You shall bring down the noise of aliens, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the song of the terrible ones shall be brought low.


Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched forth his hand against them, and has stricken them: and the hills did tremble, and their dead bodies were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.


Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.


I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, who walk in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;


We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceedingly proud) his loftiness, and his arrogance, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.


And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the LORD.


Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, says the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.


And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.


Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.


And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.


But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
