And the fish that were in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.


And it shall come to pass, that the fishermen shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; there shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be the same kinds as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many.


They take up all of them with the hook, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their dragnet: therefore they rejoice and are glad.


Shall they therefore empty their net, and continually slay the nations without mercy?


We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic:


And saying, We have piped unto you, and you have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and you have not lamented.
