So the runners went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, You children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.


He tears me in his wrath, who hates me: he gnashes upon me with his teeth; my enemy sharpens his eyes upon me.


If you return to the Almighty, you shall be built up, you shall put away iniquity far from your tents.


When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:


For he bruises, and binds up: he wounds, and his hands make whole.


LORD, by your favor you have made my mountain to stand strong: you did hide your face, and I was troubled.


Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are troubled.


You, who have showed me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.


A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;


At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect for the Holy One of Israel.


And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.


You shall defile also the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as an unclean thing; you shall say unto them, Get away.


Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the hurt of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.


Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto you; for you are the LORD our God.


For thus says the LORD, Your bruise is incurable, and your wound is grievous.


For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.


They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in my anger and in my fury, all for whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.


Behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will heal them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.


In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.


They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces toward it, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.


He has turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he has made me desolate.


They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall come trembling from the west.


Therefore turn you to your God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on your God continually.


O Israel, return unto the LORD your God; for you have fallen because of your iniquity.


I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger has turned away from him.


Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.


And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the disease has not spread in the house, after the house was plastered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the disease is healed.


Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;


See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god besides me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.


The LORD kills, and makes alive: he brings down to the grave, and brings up.


And Samuel spoke unto all the house of Israel, saying, If you do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
