Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.


There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.


Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.


Trust not in oppression, and hope not vainly in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.


Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.


The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.


A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors feeds on violence.


A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall not escape.


He that sows iniquity shall reap trouble: and the rod of his anger shall fail.


I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all.


In the day shall you make your plant to grow, and in the morning shall you make your seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap of ruins in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.


Ephraim surrounds me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet walks with God, and is faithful with the saints.


By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break all restraint, and bloodshed touches bloodshed.


They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.


They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.


For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: the stalk has no bud: it shall yield no meal: if so be it does yield, the aliens shall swallow it up.


After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom do you pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.
