Mark you well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following.


And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he lay to heart this also.


And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.


Let us search and examine our ways, and turn again to the LORD.


Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.


And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them unto you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.


Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.


Then the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him.


Is it time for you, yourselves, to dwell in your paneled houses, and this house lie in ruins?


You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but you have not enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes.


Thus says the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.


And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!


Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are counterfeits?


But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
