But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, you are but a dead man, for the woman that you have taken; for she is a man's wife.


And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.


And Laban said to him, Surely you are my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month.


So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face toward the mount Gilead.


Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgot him.


And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.


And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favored cows and fat; and they fed in a meadow.


On that night the king could not sleep, and he commanded to be brought the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.


And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.


And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.


And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.


Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.


And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it.


When he was sat down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.


For the land, where you go in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from where you came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs:
