And he recognized him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.


And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless you. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.


And the king said unto her, What ails you? And she answered, I am indeed a widow woman, and my husband is dead.


He said unto him, I am a prophet also as you are; and an angel spoke unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with you into your house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.


For your mouth utters your iniquity, and you choose the tongue of the crafty.


The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.


Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.


Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food needful for me:


These are the things that you shall do; Speak you every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:


Therefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.


Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;


And he changed his behavior before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and made marks on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.


And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king has charged me with a business, and has said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business about which I send you, and what I have commanded you: and I have directed my young men to such and such a place.
