And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him,


And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for a hundred pieces of money.


And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it from you at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which does cost me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.


I have showed you all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.


Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.


Walk in wisdom toward them that are outsiders, redeeming the time.


Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
