9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What have you done unto us? and how have I offended you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? you have done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that you have done unto me? why did you not tell me that she was your wife?


And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What was your thinking, that you have done this thing?


Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were much afraid.


And Abimelech said, What is this you have done unto us? one of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guiltiness upon us.


And it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this you have done unto me? did not I serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?


And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very angry, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing ought not to be done.

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?


And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.


Whosoever causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.


And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, even he that commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.


For there is no respect of persons with God.


Whose mouths must be stopped, who ruin whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for dishonest gain.


Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.


And Joshua said, Why have you troubled us? the LORD shall trouble you this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
