Then spoke Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.


Then said Solomon, The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.


Who covers yourself with light as with a garment: who stretches out the heavens like a curtain:


At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, with hailstones and coals of fire.


He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.


Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and justice are the habitation of his throne.


And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;


These words the LORD spoke unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.


(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for you were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,


Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
