I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.


For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:


For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.


And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.


Now concerning things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,


For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.


According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:


That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,


Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.


For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:


But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:


And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;


And not holding the Head, from whom all the body by joints and ligaments having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God.


That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;


Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;


For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.


And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:


We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other abounds;


Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:


Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently:


And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.
