Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.


And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.


And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.


They said therefore among themselves, Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which said, They parted my garments among them, and for my clothing they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.


After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst.


For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.


Who also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.


And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.


Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured forth this, which you now see and hear.


But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he has so fulfilled.


I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.


And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.


For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;


For in him dwells all the fullness of the Deity bodily.


And without doubt great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.


Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.


For such a high priest was befitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;


Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
