And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.


Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build you the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.


And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.


And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any animal with me, except the animal that I rode upon.


And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they finish in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?


So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.


Before I go where I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;


A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.


They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.


For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?


Say not unto your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it with you.


If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall be.


In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both alike shall be good.


I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the rest of my years.


And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.


And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.


They said unto him, Because no man has hired us. He said unto them, Go you also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall you receive.


But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.


Jesus said unto them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.


For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.


I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.


Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;


But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.


Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the Lord, as I also do.


Know you not that they who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain.


I therefore so run, not with uncertainty; so fight I, not as one that beats the air:


Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.


And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;


And let it be, when these signs are come unto you, that you do as the occasion suits you; for God is with you.
