Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?


For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.


But those riches are lost by a bad venture: when he begets a son, there is nothing in his hand.


The LORD has also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his deeds will he recompense him.


But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have prepared?


For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
