That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:


And said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.


And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way in which they must walk, and the work that they must do.


All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not according to their works: for they say, and do not.


These are the words which Moses spoke unto all Israel on this side of Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against Suph, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.


Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.


These are the statutes and judgments, which you shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of your fathers gives you to possess, all the days that you live upon the earth.


And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:


But it shall come to pass, if you will not hearken unto the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you:


You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your heads of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,


And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, You have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;


Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, to do them, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers gives you.


And all the plain on this side of Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, below the slopes of Pisgah.


Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the land where you go to possess it.


The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.


You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.


This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
