18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God has given you this land to possess it: you shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are fit for war.

And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.


And gave their land for a heritage: for his mercy endures forever:


And you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.


These are the statutes and judgments, which you shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of your fathers gives you to possess, all the days that you live upon the earth.


Except when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it:


You shall not remove your neighbor's landmark, which the men of old time have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit in the land that the LORD your God gives you to possess it.


You shall set apart three cities for you in the midst of your land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess it.


Therefore I command you, saying, you shall set apart three cities for you.


If one be found slain in the land which the LORD your God gives you to possess, lying in the field, and it is not known who has slain him:


Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies round about, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; you shall not forget it.


But as for you, stand you here by me, and I will speak unto you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.


Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go to possess it:


Understand therefore, that the LORD your God gives you not this good land to possess it for your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.


Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you provisions; for within three days you shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God gives you to possess it.
