And what one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make himself a name, and to do for you great things and awesome, for your land, before your people, whom you redeemed to yourself from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?


I am the LORD your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


Hearken to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock from where you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.


Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;


In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;


That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:


And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.


You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, and out of your threshing floor, and out of your winepress: of that with which the LORD your God has blessed you you shall give unto him.


And it shall be, if he say unto you, I will not go away from you; because he loves you and your house, because he fares well with you;


And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these statutes.


Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own, zealous of good works.


By this perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
