As God lives, who has taken away my right; and the Almighty, who has made bitter my soul;


And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.


And you shall swear, The LORD lives, in truth, in justice, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.


And say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up my hand unto the descendants of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up my hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;


Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with fine gold of Uphaz:


For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much equipment.


And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?


And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?


While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom has departed from you.


And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes unto heaven, and my understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honored him that lives forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:


I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;


And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.


And he said unto me, For two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.


And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy awesomely, and shall prosper, and thrive, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.


Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand what you shall answer:


And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.


And to make you high above all nations which he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people unto the LORD your God, as he has spoken.


For the LORD shall judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, and there is none left, slave or free.


For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, As I live forever.


For you are a holy people unto the LORD your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.


But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:


And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.


And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days.


And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.


The four and twenty elders fall down before him that is sitting on the throne, and worship him that lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,


And when those living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him that sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
