When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.


And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If you will, you can make me clean.


Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia,


And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.


And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theater.


And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples allowed him not.


Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the majority knew not why they were come together.


And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
