These things have you done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such a one as yourself: but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes.


The watchman said, The morning comes, and also the night: if you will inquire, inquire you: return, come.


They said unto him, Because no man has hired us. He said unto them, Go you also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall you receive.


And saying, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.


From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.


And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.


And they went out, and preached that men should repent.


I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish.


Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.


And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.


When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.


Who in times past allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.


For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.


Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.


Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;


And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper;


Or despise you the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?


For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;


For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be regretted: but the sorrow of the world works death.


For the time past of our life will suffice us to have done the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in licentiousness, lusts, excess of wine, reveling, carousing, and abominable idolatries:
