But when they persecute you in this city, flee into another: for verily I say unto you, You shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man comes.


And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about a hundred and twenty,)


Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:


Then he came to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a certain woman, who was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:


And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming there went into the synagogue of the Jews.


And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timothy to come to him with all speed, they departed.


And some of them believed, and joined Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.


And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come here also;


And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the word, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.


So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timothy and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a time.


And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.


Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall in a basket.


But when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.


As I besought you to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might charge some that they teach no other doctrine,


For this cause I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed you:


And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may you go your way.
