And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.


And some days later Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.


But Paul thought it not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.


Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, Jews and proselytes,


And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, raising anchor, they sailed close by Crete.


And when we had sailed over the sea near Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.


Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark, cousin to Barnabas, (concerning whom you received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)


Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
