And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.


So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.


And you are witnesses of these things.


Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that when Jesus also was baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,


And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.


Who also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.


Until the day in which he was taken up, after he through the Holy Spirit had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:


This Jesus has God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.


And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.


How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
