Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth justice to the Gentiles.


Come near unto me, hear this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, has sent me.


The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;


But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.


And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up immediately out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:


And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.


And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.


And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,


And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.


Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.


I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.


Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and went to God;


I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.


And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.


Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.


Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.


For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.


What if you shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?


Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?


Who also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.


And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James.


Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.


And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.


How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.


Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)


And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone;


And without doubt great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.


For Christ has not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:


Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.


That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior:


The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and revealed it by his angel unto his servant John:


He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.
