According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.


And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?


But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? for all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.


What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?


And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?


And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

And Samuel said, When you were little in your own sight, were you not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed you king over Israel?


And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son-in-law to the king?


And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? why then speak you so to me?
